Care of the interior

Fabric is a textile cleaner concentrate that is mixed with carbonated mineral water in the Mixing Bottle. The ready-to-use mix is sprayed on and enables thorough, gentle cleaning of fabric upholstery, carpets, headliners, and fabric tops.

Advantage over foam products: better fine dosing, which prevents cleaning rings on the surface.

1. Fill the Mixing Bottle with carbonated mineral water up to the "1:2" mark.
2. Add Fabric concentrate up to the "1:3" mark. Swirl lightly.
3. Spray the Fabric mix evenly and let it work for 1–2 minutes.
4. Gently work the surface with a soft brush or a clean cloth and let dry.
5. Vacuum the dry surface thoroughly.
6. Then re-impregnate the cleaned surfaces with Lotos Protectant.

Alcantara seats and trim are hard-wearing but must be cleaned gently. Conventional cleaners often contain solvents that weaken the synthetic fibers. Alcanta Cleaner uses biodegradable active ingredients and was developed specifically for artificial suede.

1. Spray Alcanta Cleaner onto a sponge or directly onto the surface. Clean the entire surface with light tapping pressure.
2. For heavier soiling, spray Alcanta Cleaner on and work in without pressure in circular motions using the cleaning brush.
3. Tap dry with a soft cotton cloth. Never rub!

Quick Interior Finish removes dust, grease, and dirt from plastics, painted surfaces, leather, and metal surfaces in the interior in seconds and leaves a well-maintained, antistatic finish.

1. Remove loose dirt with a vacuum.
2. Shake the bottle well.
3. Spray Quick Interior Finish onto a Micro-Wash microfiber cloth and distribute evenly.
4. Turn the cloth over and wipe again with the dry side.

Fine wood trim in the interior is usually protected by thin clear-coat layers and needs special care. Wood Polish is based on pure Grade One carnauba wax and produces unmatched gloss with long-lasting care and protection – long an insider tip among Concours participants.

1. Apply Cleaner Fluid Regular to the wood surfaces with the white cotton applicator.
2. Work in with even up-and-down motions.
3. Buff off with a clean cloth.
4. Warm Wood Polish slightly with your finger in small circles and apply sparingly with your fingertip, without pressure. Let it work for 5 minutes.
5. Polish to a shine with the Micro-Polish blue.

As with skin care: first deep cleaning, then conditioning. Plastic Wash ensures deep-pore clean plastics, then Protecton adds a satin dressing or Protecton Matt a matte finish – you choose the gloss level.

Best results with the black sponge applicator. Work hard-to-reach spots such as air vents with the Detail Brush.

Plastic Wash application

1. Wipe plastic or vinyl surfaces with a damp Micro-Wash cloth.
2. Spray Plastic Wash onto a Micro-Wash cloth or directly onto the surface and distribute evenly.
3. Work in with medium pressure. On textured surfaces, use the cleaning brush.
4. Wipe again with a lightly damp cloth.

Protecton (gloss) application

1. Clean the plastic with Plastic Wash. For steering wheels and shift knobs: dishwashing liquid degreases thoroughly.
2. Apply Protecton with the sponge applicator.
3. Let it work – the milky white film becomes a deep black finish.

Protecton Matt application

1. Clean the plastic and let it dry.
2. Shake the bottle well.
3. Apply Protecton Matt evenly with the sponge applicator and firm pressure.
4. After about 20 minutes, the matte finish becomes visible.
