Before washing

To avoid ruining the shiny result of a car wash, you should always start by cleaning the wheel rims.

Rim cleaning

Brake dust can cause permanent damage to the surface of your wheel rims. Therefore, never forget the rims when washing your car - because only with regular, thorough care will rims remain the highlights of your car.

Wheel’ rim spray

1. Thoroughly spray the wheel rims with a strong jet of water.
2. Fill the Swissvax Mixing Bottle with Wheel concentrate up to the ‘1’ mark. Top up with water (up to ‘1:1’ for heavily soiled rims, ‘1:2’ or ‘1:3’ for normally soiled rims).
3. Spray the rims generously and clean immediately with a Swissvax rim brush and/or Micro-Wash microfibre cloth (yellow).
4. Thoroughly spray the rims with a strong jet of water and dry them after washing the car.

‘Wheel Spray Forte’

Swissvax Wheel Spray Forte is a modern, extremely effective wheel cleaner with a coloured effect indicator. Acid-free (!) and almost pH-neutral, it can be used safely on aluminium rims, painted rims or spoked wheels.

1. Spray the rims generously. After the active cleaning phase, the product turns a reddish-violet colour thanks to the built-in active indicator.
2. Rinse off with a strong jet of water. Finished!
3. Dry the rims after washing the car.

Rim wax

Swissvax Autobahn rim wax gives your rims a visible, fine shine and has a dirt-repellent effect. Brake dust, salt, moisture and other road dirt can hardly penetrate the protective layer of heat-resistant carnauba wax, enriched with PTFE. Swissvax Autobahn Rim Wax is safe for rims made of aluminium, polished aluminium, magnesium, chrome or with painted surfaces.

How to use

1. Clean rims thoroughly.
2. New rims must be pre-treated with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular, used rims with Paint Rubber and Cleaner Fluid Regular.
3. Apply Autobahn rim wax with Swissvax sponge applicator (black).
4. Leave on for approx. 10 minutes.
5. Polish to a shine with a clean Swissvax Micro-Polish microfibre cloth (blue). Turn the cloth repeatedly.

Tyre

Swissvax Pneu is an emulsion of gloss and care substances. They replace lost moisture in the rubber compound and protect the surface from discolouration and cracking.

APPLICATION

1. Clean tyres and allow to dry.
2. Then simply spray Swissvax Pneu onto the tyre sidewalls or apply with a Swissvax Pneu brush or Swissvax Puck (black).
3. Leave on for 5 minutes. The milky-white film changes to a deep black appearance.
4. Wipe off splashes or residues on rims, wheel trims or chrome spokes with a clean Swissvax cloth

IMPORTANT Do not use on two-wheeled vehicles. Risk of slipping!

Pneu White

Pneu White is a powerful whitewash cleaner that removes dirt and yellowing.

APPLICATION

1. Use rubber gloves and eye protection.
2. Spray Pneu White onto the enclosed Pneu White pad.
3. Thoroughly clean the white wall with the soaked pad and rinse with clear water. Repeat application in case of heavy soiling/yellowing.
4. Allow tyres to dry and then spray with Pneu Tyre Care.
