Vehicle wash and engine wash

Clean the vehicle properly and remove coarse dirt, including in the engine compartment and wheel arches.

Hand wash

Car wash

Never wash the vehicle in direct sunlight and always use sufficient wash water.

The entire paintwork should always remain wet with a water/car-bath mixture during the entire car wash! ‘Keep it wet.

Insects

It is best to place a Swissvax cloth soaked in lukewarm water over the insect residue for five minutes. Then wash off with Car Bath wash water and a Micro-Wash microfibre cloth (yellow). Do not rub! Do not use insect sponges etc.. They lead to micro-scratches on the paint finish.

Car Bath application

  1. fill two wash buckets with 20 litres of warm water. Pour one capful of Swissvax Car Bath into one of the two wash buckets.
  2. Rinse the vehicle with plenty of clean water.
  3. Wash the vehicle ‘from top to bottom’ with Swissvax Wash Poodle™ and plenty of wash water, avoiding circular movements. Start with the roof, boot and bonnet. Always rinse the Wash Poodle™ in a bucket of clear water first, then immerse it in the bucket of Car Bath again and continue washing. This will prevent annoying wash scratches.
  4. Rinse the vehicle with plenty of clean water.
  5. Dry the car with a Swissvax Hydralip and/or Micro-Dry drying cloth.
