Paint Rubber
Why Paint Rubber is the first step
An exceptional result needs a clean foundation. The Paint Rubber cleaning clay gently removes deposits such as overspray, rail dust, and industrial fallout that remain on the paint even after washing.
Paint Rubber application
- Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly.
- Spray Quick Finish onto the surface and move the Paint Rubber back and forth with light pressure.
- If the paint does not yet feel smooth, repeat the process.
- Treat the cleaned surface with Cleaner Fluid Regular and seal with Swissvax carnauba wax.
The Paint Rubber can be used until the entire clay is saturated with dirt particles.
Cleaner Fluids
Why Cleaner Fluid comes before wax
To create a good bond between paint and Swissvax wax, the paint layer is treated with Cleaner Fluid Regular after washing (and Paint Rubber if used). This nourishing solution works without abrasives and removes light scratches, tar, tree sap, and old wax. For deeper scratches, Cleaner Fluid Strong or Cleaner Fluid Medium is recommended as a first step.
Cleaner Fluids application
- Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly (pre-treat with Paint Rubber if necessary).
- Apply Cleaner Fluid Regular generously with the white cotton applicator in cross-hatch motion (no circular motion) over a panel such as the hood or both fenders until the surface is evenly nourished.
- Do not let the Cleaner Fluid dry out. Buff the still-damp fluid with the Micro-Fluffy. Turn the cloth often. Do not use any other standard microfiber towels – scratch risk!
- Same application with Cleaner Fluid Medium and/or Strong.
Waxes
The secret of handcrafted Swissvax waxes
The secret of a deep reflective and resistant paint surface lies in the handmade Swissvax waxes. You can choose between different types of wax depending on your requirements. Processing remains the same in each case.
Universal and specialty wax application
- Apply Swissvax wax with the black sponge applicator or with the palm of your hand, so an even wax film forms.
- Let it work for a few minutes – do not let it dry out.
- Buff to a high gloss with the Micro-Fluffy. Turn the cloth repeatedly.
- Do not touch the paint surface for 3 hours. If possible, place the vehicle in the sun – the gloss visibly deepens over the hours.
- If needed, wipe briefly with the Micro-Polish blue.
