Vehicle wash and engine wash

Clean the vehicle properly and remove coarse dirt, including in the engine compartment and wheel arches.

Hand wash

Hand wash fundamentals

Never wash the vehicle in direct sunlight and always use enough wash water. The entire paintwork must stay wet during the wash – "Keep it wet."

Remove insects

Place a Swissvax cloth soaked in lukewarm water over the insect residue for five minutes. Then wash off with Car Bath wash water and a Micro-Wash microfiber towel. Do not rub – do not use insect sponges, they cause micro-scratches.

Car Bath application – two-bucket method

  1. Fill two wash buckets with 20 liters of warm water. Pour one capful of Car Bath into one of the two buckets.
  2. Rinse the vehicle with plenty of clear water.
  3. Using the Wash Pad and plenty of wash water, wash the vehicle from top to bottom – avoid circular motions. Start with the roof, trunk, and hood. Always rinse the Wash Pad first in the clear-water bucket, then dip again in the Car Bath bucket. This prevents wash scratches.
  4. Rinse the vehicle with plenty of clear water.
  5. Dry with the Hydra Lip and/or the Ultra-Dry drying towel.

Engine washing and sealing

Engine engine cleaner application

  1. Protect the distributor, ignition coil, and spark plugs with plastic film.
  2. Fill a Mixing Bottle with Engine concentrate up to the "1" mark.
  3. Add water for the desired concentration: "1:1" for heavy soiling, "1:2" for normal soiling, "1:3" for exhaust soiling on exterior paintwork.
  4. Spray the Engine mix evenly onto cooled, dry surfaces and let it work for 3 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove oil, soot, and dirt with a Wheel Brush. Re-spray with Engine occasionally.
  6. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clear water.
  7. Remove plastic film and let the engine dry well.

Motor Shine engine sealant application

  1. Carefully clean the engine with Engine.
  2. Before application, always switch off the ignition (risk of short circuit). Cover adjacent paint and body parts.
  3. Spray Motor Shine onto perfectly dry, cooled surfaces.
  4. Apply evenly in several fine spray layers until a closed gloss film forms.
  5. Let dry for 15–30 minutes.
